Samantha Bee approached Prologue with the idea of spoofing the Star Wars Cantina scene for her new show Full Frontal with Samantha Bee on TBS. Prologue’s Kyle Cooper directed the one-day shoot in New York in collaboration with Full Frontal’s crew. Most of the promo relies on practical make-up effects, but some supplementary visual effects, such as blaster fire and lightning, were added in afterwards.
