OLIVER STONE | HOLLYWOOD PICTURES
MAIN TITLE

After seeing his credit sequence for Se7en, Oliver Stone approached Kyle Cooper to work on the title sequence for his 1995 film Nixon. With his team at Imaginary Forces, Kyle created simple typography for the main title, and used traditional film opticals to composite headlines of Nixon’s fall at the end of the film. These headlines of Nixon’s predicament periodically pop up, much as they did to the American public at the time, as the voice of a radio newscaster delivers the details surrounding Watergate.
